Automotive Service Cashier / Service BDC Rep “Business Development Center”

A Service BDC Representative must provide excellent customer service, successfully schedule service appointments and handle service customers concerns. Full-Time: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Opportunities are available for additional hours on Saturday as needed.
Starting Compensation: $18/HR
Automotive Service BDC Cashier responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for cash register and cash control to ensure that all amounts are correct
Print receipts for customers, reconcile billing problems, issue refunds, and answer questions
related to the cost of services
Provide exemplary customer service while efficiently and professionally fielding phone calls to
deliver a positive buyer experience
Proactively resolve and reconcile unpaid, declined, or outstanding service payments and
document transactions in the dealership computer system
Assist with general front desk clerical duties such as managing office supply inventory, keeping
the cashier window area clean, and patching callers through to the appropriate contacts
Greet customers with a smile, maintain a professional appearance, escalate customer
complaints to the service advisor if needed
Schedule service appointments and reschedule no show customers
Work closely with the Service Department to keep customers updated on the progress of their
vehicles
Assist Service Advisors with claim payment follow-up and collection as needed
Assist Service and Parts Management as needed
Job Skills
Good written, and verbal communication skills

Results-driven and motivated to provide excellent customer service
Excellent customer service
Cash Handling and reconciliation experience preferred
Automotive industry experience preferred
Valid Driver’s License
